A note from Tom

“My curiosity for modifying existing tools and building my first machines started when I was young.

“As a child working at my family’s resort, my father frequently lamented that I would spend more effort developing alternatives than simply applying the manual effort required to finish my tasks.

“Little did we realize, I was on a lifelong path of fascination with the physical universe, mathematics, spectrometry, and philosophy. This fascination continues today with a child-like joy of discovery and revelation in my work and personal life.”
